Michael is a talented chef in an upmarket restaurant in Glasgow. Suddenly, everyone begins to lose their sense of smell, which has obvious implications for Michael’s business, followed soon after by taste. Meanwhile, a doctor called Susan, who lives opposite the restaurant, glimpses Michael and they begin a passionate affair. The romance is tested as everyone gradually loses their hearing, leaving just the ability to see and touch.
