Henrik van der Zee is doomed to sail the seas as punishment for the murder of his wife. The only way to break the curse is to find a woman willing to die for him. In a sun-baked Mediterranean resort, Fredrik meets beautiful Pandora, who drives all of the local boys to distraction. In a spooky twist, Pandora also looks uncannily like Fredrik’s slain wife. So the eponymous Dutchman pursues Pandora and the pair fall madly in love.
