The Tour De France remains one of the world's premier cycle races, pushing competitors physically to the limit as they chase the elusive and iconic yellow jersey. Tomas Gislason's documentary follows the Danish Team CSC through the 2004 campaign, witnessing the trials and tribulations of the riders and their ever reliable coach, Bjarne Riis. As the tour unfolds, competitors have to contend with bereavement and the constant spectre of injury, while Riis tries to hold everything together and fend off the media, which is always on the prowl for the next controversy.
