Washed-up musician and professional layabout Dave gate-crashes the home of his younger sister, Tess, who has a young son called Felix. Dave half-heartedly makes himself useful by volunteering to chaperone Felix and kindergarten classmates on a school field trip to a farm led by ukulele-strumming teacher Miss Caroline.
