Zach is plunged into grief when his girlfriend Beth is bitten by a snake during a hike and subsequently dies. A few days after the funeral Zach visits Beth’s grave and it is empty. He contacts Beth’s parents and they confess they have been hiding their daughter, who turned up after the funeral with no memory of the past. Zach is delighted and he rekindles his romance with Beth but her increasingly violent behaviour drives a wedge between them.
