Alexandre Ludon and socially inept best friend Jeff Cortes have failed miserably to realise their potential. They work together and relinquish responsibility for their day-to-day existence to their despairing wives. Out of the blue, the company hires Alexandre’s old friend Thibaut, who is a hugely successful motivational speaker. Thibaut’s arrival sparks an existential crisis for Alexandre, who reconsiders the haphazard path of his life and the shambolic state of his personal relationships.
