Truck driver Ruben is asked by his boss to drive a friend from Asuncion in Paraguay across the border to Buenos Aires in Argentina. Ruben agrees and the driver is shocked when he picks up Jacinta and her baby Anahi for the long and arduous trek. At first, Ruben can barely disguise his despair at having a noisy infant in the truck but as the journey continues, the man and baby bond, kindling a tender romance between Ruben and his passenger.
