On May 29, 1985, 39 people died and hundreds were injured in the Heysel Stadium in Brussels during violent clashes between fans of Juventus and Liverpool. The following day, Kenny Dalglish was appointed player-manager of the English club. In his first year in charge, Liverpool won the league and FA cup. This documentary is a portrait of Dalglish on and off the football pitch, concentrating on the sacrifices he made for his family and club.
