In October 2001, the sleepy community of Conroe, Texas was shaken to its core when a 50-year-old nurse was murdered in her home, apparently during the robbery of her car. Michael Perry and Jason Burkett were both arrested and charged with the crime, the former condemned to death row while the latter was handed a life sentence. This documentary investigates this heinous crime, speaking to the two prisoners in the days leading up to Perry's execution.
