Wheelchair bound Michael, who suffers from cerebral palsy, has lived in a care home for most of his life, under the watchful eye of the head nurse. He gets a new lust for life when rebel Rory, who suffers from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, arrives at the home, with grand plans to one day rent his own place. The two young men eventually move out into a ground floor flat, where Siobhan becomes their carer. However, sexual tension and rivalry threaten to disrupt the happy home.
