An uplifting documentary, which follows Catholic nuns Sister Marie Arne and Sister Mary Campion as they travel around 1968 Chicago, approaching local people and visitors with one simple question: "Are you happy?". The camera captures the respondents' as they deliberate and eventually lay bare their thoughts, occasionally wearing their hearts on their selves as they reveal hardships of the past.
