An intimate documentary about an energetic 10-year-old child healer called Dujuan, who speaks three languages and is keen to share the history of the world around him. Unfortunately, his western education is judged to be insufficient and he is closely scrutinised by police and social services. Faced with the possibility that they could lose Dujuan, the boy's family charts a course between Arrernte and western traditions to shepherd the youngster away from a bleak future behind bars.
