The musician bled to death waiting for the ambulance to arrive on treacherously icy roads and Helen served time for the killing. This documentary includes audio testimony from a common-law wife found guilty of murder, photographs, archive footage and revealing interviews to reexamine a crime that shocked the jazz community.
