In February 2009, husband and father Neil Platt lost his battle against Motor Neurone Disease (MND). He was 34. Within the space of a year, Neil was almost completely immobile from the neck down, relying on a ventilator to breathe. He was determined that more people should know about the disease so Neil collaborated with filmmakers Emma Davie and Morag McKinnon on this inspiring documentary, sharing his fight against the illness and celebrating the power of the human spirit to endure.
