Harvey is surprised to hear that his old friend Lola has been forced to return home. She left many years ago and Harvey decides to rekindle tender memories by taking Lola back to the quaint seaside cottage on the Cornish coast where they spent their youth. Over the course of the weekend, Harvey and Lola seek refuge in fragments of the past before they begin to make sense of where their futures lie.
