Low-level investment banker Harold Lee returns home after a long day at the office to find his best friend Kumar valiantly upholding his carefree ways in front of the TV. Desperate to escape their respective realities, the friends get high and develop a bad case of the munchies, which can only be satiated by a trip to White Castle fast food joint. The quest for hamburger nirvana quickly turns into an all-night adventure they’d rather forget.
