As a young boy, Michael Myers stabs his sister’s boyfriend and is promptly dispatched to Smith’s Grove Sanitarium under the care of psychiatrist Dr Samuel Loomis. Fifteen years later, Michael escapes from the facility and heads back to his home town of Haddonfield, Illinois with Loomis in hot pursuit. The hulking escapee targets high school student Laurie Strode, who is babysitting a boy named Tommy Doyle.
