Freedom Fields (PG)

In the aftermath of the Arab Spring, members of the Libyan women’s football team dare to dream of playing their first international fixture, bringing attention to a sport that faces stiff opposition in their own country. Unfortunately, opponents utilise the media to thwart the players’ aspirations. Over the course of five years, this documentary follows three players from markedly different social backgrounds as they fight to have their voices heard and inspire a new generation of girls.
