Starving and physically shaken, Taliban fighter Mohammed uses a rocket launcher to kill three Americans who stumble upon his hiding place in a valley. Allied forces, circling the area in helicopters, soon track him down and subject him to a punishing interrogation punctuated by beatings and waterboarding. Unable or unwilling to talk, Mohammed refuses to answer the questions of his captors and he endures the pain with startling resolve.
