Having taken a job as an attendant at his local swimming baths, Mike begins to obsess about fellow attendant Susan, who is engaged to be married to Chris. Such is the intensity of the teenager's desire, he stalks Susan and then resolves to sabotage her impending nuptials so that she can he his. However, the deeper he falls for Susan, the more extreme his actions become.
