Death In Venice (12A)

Middle-aged German composer Gustav von Aschenbach tries to reverse his ailing health by taking a short holiday to Venice. He arrives to find the city in the grip of a deadly plague, and consequently opts to remain largely in his hotel, where he befriends an effete teenager called Tadzio and his mother. Having tried to hide from his latent homosexuality, Gustav is forced to confront it head-on when he develops an obsession for Tadzio.
