Re-release of the 1945 psychological horror, co-directed by Charles Crichton, Cavalcanti, Robert Hamer and Basil Dearden, who also delivers the linking narrative. Walter Craig arrives at a cottage one sunny day where he regales the locals with details of a strange recurring dream. As the assembled strangers discuss possible meanings of the dream, five people recount their own spooky stories: Hearse Driver, Christmas Party, The Haunted Mirror, Golfing Story and The Ventriloquist’s Dummy.
