Sosa is an ambulance-chasing vulture who listens to a police scanner, reacting instantly to news of traffic accidents. He races to the scene of collisions and exploits the victims’ momentary disorientation to suggest he represents them and guarantee a payout from their insurance companies. Naturally, he will take a generous cut of the payout. During one late night dash, Sosa meets idealistic emergency services medic Lujan, and he is inexplicably drawn to her.
