It is the 1960s and musician Chet Baker's career and personal life are in tatters after years of heroin addiction. Baker resolves to stage an unlikely comeback spurred on by his passionate romance with a new flame called Jane. However, demons of the past continue to haunt him and Baker threatens to squander his genius again.
