Sandra is devastated when her husband takes his life. Teetering on the brink of a nervous breakdown, Sandra telephones her brother Marco, who abandons his duties as a merchant sea captain and returns to his sibling in her hour of need. Marco quickly learns that Sandra is going bankrupt as a result of massive debts owed to loan shark Edouard. So he moves into a neighbouring apartment to the loan shark and sets about seducing Edouard’s lover Raphaelle.
