In the Okavango Delta, animals wait patiently every year for the flood that nourishes every living being. When the deluge fails to materialise, Billy the little mischievous meerkat and Socrates the friendly lion embark on an epic quest to find water and to prove to Billy’s son Junior that his old man is just as valiant as the bigger animals on the plain. En route, the friends encounter animals from all over the world, who are seeking a new home in the African landscape.
