Foreign affairs correspondent Marie Colvin puts herself in the line of fire for her editor Sean Ryan, opening the eyes of her readers to atrocities behind enemy lines. She recruits Paul Conroy as her photographer and together they seek out important stories including the Arab Spring and an exclusive interview with Colonel Gaddafi. When Syria attempts to block foreign journalists from covering the civil war, Marie and Paul enter the country without permission and report on attacks on civilians.
