Note however that some shows do apply restrictions which may mean some of these exchanges are practically not possible to overseas travellers. Also note that Saturday most shows are still sold out and therefore in most cases we cannot move today’s reservations to Saturday’s performances.

WEST END theatre carries on regardless today, despite the snow that has caused half of London to close down.

“All today’s shows are scheduled to go ahead,” said Will Fussell of theatre ticket agency Encore.

More than a dozen are shows are offering people trapped by the weather the chance to reschedule their bookings, as long as the change is made by 5.30pm today and as long as they are for midweek performances.
