The clip on video sharing website YouTube, which is posted under the heading gracewasteland/s, features the rocker singing a previously-unheard song over footage he apparently shot at his Wiltshire home.

As he sings the line “All I know is I love you”, footage of his supermodel ex-girlfriend pouting and mouthing the words into the camera appears, before cutting back to Pete repeating the sentiment.

One fan has offered the rocker some advice on winning back Kate – who is newly-single since splitting from The Kills rocker Jamie Hince.

Posting in response to the video, Crimplemania said: “Hire a maid, once a week. Rubbish everywhere won’t help getting her back.”

In another clip added by the rocker shortly after Gracelands, Pete can be seen jamming with former Blur guitarist Graham Coxon on You’re So Great.

Pete has reportedly been “desperate” to reunite with Kate since she split from Jamie.

A source said: “He is desperate for her to give him another chance. He believes Kate is ‘the one’ and won’t give up on the idea of reuniting.”

The musician recently revealed he still had feelings for Kate, saying: “It’s over. But whether or not I’m over it, I’m not sure.”
