Kevin Federline insists it was “painful but appropriate” to remove Britney Spears’ visitation rights.

Kevin believes the decision to suspend his ex-wife’s visits to see their two sons, two-year-old Sean Preston and 16-month-old Jayden James, is a “sad situation” but says his children’s welfare is “paramount”.
His lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan said: “Kevin is not indifferent to how difficult it has to be on their mother and on the kids. It’s a sad situation. There’s no victorious feeling.
“Kevin wants nothing more than to be able to parent his children with
participation by their mother.
“But the best interest of the children requires that they be in the most sound, safe, nurturing and consistent environment. That is paramount.”
Kevin recently revealed the problems he and Britney share are “normal”, and are only amplified because they are celebrities.
He said: “I think the infatuation with the whole thing is that watching us go through things makes other people feel normal. Even though everything is so publicised and everybody is looking at it, it’s normal for us.”
Britney’s visitation rights have been “suspended indefinitely” in an emergency court hearing, after she refused to return her sons at the end of a supervised visit.
