Razorlight singer Johnny Borrell is set to be made into an action figure.

The outrageous rocker will be immortalised in plastic, after being described as “Manhattan’s favourite poster boy” by US company Raspberry Starlight.

Borrell, who split from his Spiderman girlfriend Kirsten Dunst earlier this month, attracted admiring glances when he spent time with the blonde beauty in New York, and the toy manufacturer has decided to capitalise on his popularity.

However, some people remain unconvinced about owning a likeness of the tight-trousered rocker. Music fan Justine Springthorpe told the NME: “A Borrell action figure? I’d probably burn it – I love Razorlight’s songs but he is an arrogant p***k!”

Borrell isn’t the only celebrity to be immortalised. Earlier this year, Keira Knightley criticised the toy of her Pirates of the Caribbean character Elizabeth Swann, saying it looks didn’t resemble her boyish figure.

Keira fumed: “It’s nothing like me. She has got t*ts for a start! I don’t have any t*ts!”

Keifer Sutherland’s 24 action figure also experienced a few problems after he set fire to the prototype during a drunken night out.
