The RocknRolla director was treated to the traditional British treats with a variety of luxury fillings, including smoked haddock and egg and chicken, leek and tarragon, from his friends.
Guy – who threw a no-expense spared bash for his wife Madonna to mark her 50th birthday last month – toasted his landmark age at his London pub The Punchbowl on Wednesday (10.09.08).
Guests participated in an old-fashioned sing along of classic English songs including My Old Man’s A Dustman and It’s a Long Way To Tipperary.
One reveller said: “It was a typical night in the pub for Guy and his pals. A good old knees-up with music, free-flowing drinks and the Guy pies.
“They went down a treat. Guy loved them. He was presented with one with a sign stuck in it by his pals before the serious drinking started.”
Madonna – who is currently on her Sticky and Sweet world tour, which hit London last night (11.09.08) – left the party with her children Lourdes, 12, Rocco, eight, and adopted toddler David Banda after just an hour, leaving her husband to party until 4.30am.
The director was seen drinking pints of beer without using his hands and telling crude jokes about his wife, saying all he wanted for his birthday was to “s**g” his missus”.
A source added: “Guy was on great form. He kept going on about all the lads being together as if they were in one of his gangster movies.”
The bash was attended by the couple’s close friends Trudie Styler – wife of singer Sting – RocknRolla actor Mark Strong and I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here star David Gest.
