She said: “I’m really broody at the moment, but I always am.”

Cheryl also revealed she has been keeping her old clothes for her future offspring.

Showing off a tutu she wore when she was 10, the ‘Biology’ star said: “I used to love ballet so this means a lot to me, I’m going to keep it for when I have a little girl.”

Cheryl, 25, is preparing for motherhood by caring for a wide array of animals.

She told BBC Radio 1 presenter Jo Whiley: “I’m obsessed with animals. We went to Ibiza a while back and I disappeared one day. The girls eventually found me feeding lizards with leaves and strawberries. Even on my honeymoon I was trying to coax the lizards.

“I’ve always been the same, my mum said it was like the RSPCA in our house when I was young – pigeons with broken wings, anything. I’ve never killed a spider.”
