Everyone’s always known that it’s a dog’s life but today, new evidence – released alongside the London launch of the stylish dog brand Dogside – shows that city canines are living it large and having a great time! Pooches in the capital are more likely than those elsewhere to get treats and walks and be taken shopping, whilst having a better social life than dogs living in rural areas. They also get more expensive pressies and toys to play with and have a greater chance of having a ball thrown for them than dogs elsewhere in the country.

And, as if life wasn’t amazing enough, today, across London, dogs will be discovering the ultimate new label with their own eyes and noses! Dogside is the first brand made exclusively for urban dogs – and it is based on a view of life through a dog’s own eyes. Dogside aims to show owners what their dogs see, hear, smell and think. It’s a brand that is always on the dog’s side and in parks across the capital dogs are finding out for themselves just how attractive Dogside is as they sniff out thousands of free black, branded tennis balls.

A London-based urban dog loving team, including founders Adam Arnold and Georgia Howe, is behind this pioneering launch with its online portal – dogside.com

– Engaging videos and photos shot from a dog’s perspective – showcasing some of London’s most fascinating dogs and their owners with pioneering ‘dog-cam’ footage capturing a dogs view of the city.

– DOGSIDE.com also features an interactive Google map plotting London from a dog’s point of view – called ‘DOGSIDETracks’. It includes great walks, dog friendly pubs and local vets. Local businesses are being encouraged to become dog friendly and join the map and become DOGSIDE Approved.

– Loads of interesting and useful articles and advice on dogs issues. As well as an irreverent and entertaining mix of daily news and a blog, ‘DOGSIDELines’, for owners to enjoy.

– A forum called ‘DOGSIDEPosts’ for urban dog owners to get in touch with each other and discuss bringing up a dog in the city.

– And an e-commerce section where DOGSIDE products are available to buy. The initial line up of products includes:
