This museum truly allows patrons to experience life during one of the most important events of the 20th century. The environment and contents of the museum – which include a BBC radio station, a shelter, artifacts and a host of special effects – add to the extensive information it provides about the lives of the era’s leaders and everyday citizens. Open seven days a week 10:00 – 17:00 (Oct – Mar) 10:00 – 18:00 (April – Sept) Admission is £8.50 for adults, £4.50 for children, £20 for families, £5.50 for students and seniors, and free for under 5 years or younger.
