A group of American high school students are preparing for a study trip to France when one of the group, Alex, suddenly has a premonition that the plane will burst into flames just after take-off. Alex and his friends are taken off the flight just before it explodes. His friends wonder whether he was somehow involved in the disaster. The FBI begins asking similar questions, especially when the survivors begin to die one by one in increasingly bizarre manners. Could fate be taking its terrible toll?
