Documentary following a family of shepherds from Montana, which embarks on a perilous journey through the Beartooth Mountains, herding their sheep along narrow ridges and across lush valleys over a distance of almost 300 kilometres. Along the way, the herders must protect their livestock from the elements as well as the grizzly bears and wolves which prowl the mountains.
