Oskar Schindler uses his connections within the Nazi party to secure factory premises. Aided by Itzhak Stern, Schindler hires Jews in his factory because they cost less. He subsequently witnesses a massacre ordered by SS officer Amon Goth and the businessman is deeply affected by the haunting image of lifeless young girl in a red coat. Schindler uses his money to bribe Goth and other SS guards in the hope that he can save his Jewish workforce from Auschwitz.
