Shot in black and white, this surreal, dystopian fantasy is set in a world which has almost lost the ability to communicate through words. A mysterious woman called The Voice is one of the few souls blessed with the power of speech. Nefarious communications guru Mr TV controls the airwaves and he intends to manipulate the entire population through one of his broadcasts. He kidnaps The Voice as part of his plan so her young son Tomas, who has no eyes, joins a daring rescue bid led by a television repairman to save mankind from enslavement.
