Documentary drama about an airplane crash, which claimed the lives of the 237 passengers and 20 crew. On November 28, 1979, Air New Zealand flight 901 was on a sightseeing tour of Antarctica in broad daylight. Unthinkably, the plane crashed into the side of Mount Erebus. Police and the US Navy braved the harsh conditions and terrain to undertake the heartbreaking task of recovering the victims. Meanwhile, investigators began to piece together events leading up to the crash.
