For generations, Eklavya and his family have protected the royal citadel of Devigarh in Rajasthan. When queen Rani Suhasinidevi dies suddenly, wayward Prince Harshwardhan, heir to the throne, returns home to a kingdom in disarray, and his loyal guard Eklavya who is becoming increasingly frail and blind. Harshwardhan’s twin sister Princess Nandini and his childhood sweetheart Rajjo are delighted about his return to the homeland but unrest in the land, sparked by the king’s brutal treatment of the peasants, threatens a full-scale uprising.
