A comet is spotted flying towards Earth shortly before Emily and Kevin head to a dinner party thrown by their good friend Mike. Naturally, the conversation is dominated by the comet. During the meal, Mike’s house suffers a power cut and the guests discover that the entire street is dark except for one residence. Intrigued, Emily, Kevin, Mike and their friends investigate and they come face-to-face with a freakishly familiar situation that suggests they might have been propelled into a parallel universe.
