Raffi, the son of renowned art historian, is working alongside film director Edward on a dramatisation of the 1915 genocide, when Turkey massacred more than 600,000 of its citizens of Armenian descent. Having travelled to Turkey to take extra footage for the picture, Raffi is stopped at customs by veteran inspector David, who retires at the end of his shift. David believes the film cans in Raffi’s possession may contain drugs, but the young man will not open them for fear of exposing and ruining the footage.
