The village of Padaghattam is flanked by a sprawling forest on one side and a holy expanse of water on the other. Locals give thanks to their goddess at the temple, unaware of a swirling socio-political storm that will curtail their rights and divide the community. Corruption surfaces in Padaghattam and temple funds are embezzled. Supported by his father Acharya, gung-ho social reformer Siddha risks life and limb in the name of the goddess to protect the interest of friends and neighbours.
