"SMILE" flashmob heads for 4th Plinth, Trafalgar Square

FOLLOWING the huge success of the Michael Jackson Thriller Flashmob event in Trafalgar Square in August, organiser Ilana Lorraine is at it again.

She's announced the next flashmob - this time a sing-a-long to the artist's favourite song; Smile, is to take place between 7-8pm on Friday 9 October 2009 by the 4th Plinth. Her friend, photographer Romain Kedochim, is set to take the hour long plinth spot during that time.

"Romain will be photographing the event with his Large Format Speed Graphic Press Camera, Vintage style - as in the 1940's films" Ilana told LondonNet.

"Come dressed up vintage to help create a fun atmosphere - and please come to support. We will be partying, jamming and having fun in support of Romain Kedochim on the plinth - so come and enjoy!"

Sky Arts will be filming the ensuing flashmob frenzy between 7pm to 8pm for TV.
