Crofton Roman Villa, London
The only villa open to the public of Greater London, the villa was inhabited from AD 140 to 400. Today, the remains of 10 rooms can be seen by the public, who can also listen to talks from archaeologists. Open April to October, Wednesday - Friday 10:00 - 13:00, 14:00 - 17:00; Sunday 14:00 - 17:00. Admission is 80 pence for adults and 50 pence for children.
