Kensington Palace – Princess Diana’s former residence – is next door to the hotel in the leafy surrounds of Kensington Gardens, a lovely green space that flanks Hyde Park. A short walk away are some of London’s best museums such as the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum. Shoppers flock to Kensington High Street for its mix of chain and designer stores while Harrods and other Knightsbridge outlets are also a short walk away. The Royal Garden is within a minute’s walk of High Street Kensington underground station, which provides access to the rest of London’s attractions.
The hotel has 396 beautifully appointed bedrooms including 37 suites. All bedrooms are elegantly decorated and the hotel has recently introduced a new room category – The Garden Rooms. As the name suggests, these rooms have spectacular views out over Kensington Palace and Gardens. The rooms not only feature the standard mini bar, air conditioning, internet connection, but also a 37″ LCD TV, Media Hub, iPod Docking Station and specially designed King size beds.

The Royal Garden Hotel has three bars and two restaurants.
The Park Terrace restaurant on the ground floor specialises in fresh British produce and is open all day every day for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and snacks.
Min Jiang on the tenth floor serves authentic Chinese cuisine with panoramic views over Kensington Palace and Hyde Park. Specialising in sumptuous Dim Sum, spicy Sichuan and the famous Beijing Duck, Min Jiang is open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week.
Bertie’s Bar on the mezzanine level of the hotel is open Monday – Saturday, 5pm – 11pm.
