Born in Kherson in Ukraine, Sergei Polunin dazzled audiences at an early age and he became the Royal Ballet's youngest principal. He brought the art form into the mainstream with his good looks, power and poise. However, celebrity came at a terrible price and Polunin was driven to the brink of self-destruction by his stardom. This documentary delves into the psychology of a cultural iconoclast, whose virtuosity made him a star that burned too bright.
