The final film in the eight-part series gets a red-carpet launch on 7 July, ahead of its general release a week later.

Potter stars like Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint will all be there, plus what is expected to be one the biggest premiere crowds ever seen on Leicester Square. In fact, so strong is the interest, they’ve booked Trafalgar Square for the event as well.

It’s been a busy seven days or so for the Harry Potter publicity team.

Last week saw the unveiling of the Pottermore adventure story website and today, on top of the YouTube/premiere news, they wheeled out a new ‘special content’ trailer for Deathly Hallows: Part 2.
