Gordon Ramsay: ‘Business as usual’

GORDON RAMSAY and wife Tara are on a “business as usual” footing despite claims the TV chef indulged in a secret affair for seven years.

In the time-honoured manner of politicians caught with their trousers down, yesterday the couple posed for photographers outside their home, a £4 million pile in Wandsworth.

The happy family stunt was in response to reports in the News of the World that Ramsay had been seeing Sarah Symonds behind Tara’s back, meeting the author of Having an Affair? the Handbook for the Other Woman as recently as last Thursday in a Mayfair hotel room.

But an aide insisted that all was well with Ramsay and Tara, who were voted Family of the Year in 2007. “Everything is fine,” said the spokesperson. “Life is good and it’s business as usual for their marriage.”

Symonds was previously the mistress of disgraced Tory operator Jeffrey Archer.
